Simple Pleasures... Old Christmas friends
One of the great pleasures of decorating for Christmas is rediscovering all the goodies that have been packed away for a year ~ it's like getting a visit from old friends. A case in point: my holiday stuffed animal collection. I don't remember how or even when it started, or even where most of them came from, but each year when I unpack them they make me smile. I'm not one of those people who keeps stuffed animals around as a rule, but there's something about these holiday critters that makes me happy.
Wishing all of you simple holiday pleasures this week...

I agree completely that uncovering the treasures year after year is a special part of Christmas decorating.
ReplyDeleteAwww ... aren't they just precious? I agree with you and Debbie ... uncovering treasures year after year makes the season extra sweet.
ReplyDeleteI think your banner truly is beautiful! I like the sweet Christmas teddy bears, too. Also enjoyed your previous post on the Christmas Victoria magazine issues and books. And your dining table is very pretty! Bess
ReplyDeleteNow I'm a kid at heart year-round, I admit, but I think there is just something so special and magical about Christmas, specifically THIS time of year, that brings out the child, OR stuffed animal lovers in a good many of us!!! Your teddy bears and little reindeer are adorable Bella! Happy Holidays to you! ~tina
