Café philosophy...
“The people that I liked and had not met went to the big cafés because they were lost in them and no one noticed them and they could be alone in them and be together.”
~ Ernest Hemingway, A Moveable Feast
Just wanted to share this evening snapshot I took in a quiet moment between crowds at one of my favorite places, a local French bakery and café. This is a place where you are meant to linger, to talk over a café au lait and indulge in a macaroon, all in beautiful surroundings ~ you know, life. It is not meant to be rushed through day in and day out, with barely a thought given to what makes you happy. Just a gentle reminder for all of us.
Wishing all of you a beautiful day...

That sounds like my kind of place.
ReplyDeleteLovely. I love beautiful spots for coffee and conversation. Or tea and a book.
