Tea time beauty...
I found this beautiful tea cup and saucer in a little shop one afternoon browsing with friends. It was the only dish in this pattern. I have a special affinity for orphan tea cups, so naturally I brought it home. The pattern reminds me of autumn ~ it's the mixture of orange and blue, with that little bit of green thrown in. Even though summer is really just getting started where I live, I find myself already looking forward to fall, my favorite season. I can just imagine enjoying a nice tea break with this lovely cup and saucer ~ and a few cookies, of course.
Today I am linking to Tea Cup Tuesday, Teapot and Tea Things Tuesday and Tea Time Tuesday. Please stop by and visit our lovely hostesses for a little more tea time beauty.

Hi :) Beautiful Teacup! I am NOT looking forward to fall, that means all the leaves on our trees will be on the ground, and have to clean them up...then comes winter, which I hate, with all the snow and snowstorms :( My favorite season is Spring, with everything so fresh and new.
ReplyDeleteHappy Teacup Tuesday to you!
Warmest hugs, Brenda

Oh Bella that is so beautiful, I love the rich colors and intricate design, how precious and special! And the name "Mandalay" sounds so exotic, one would just have to have some tea that was imported from somewhere sultry. Love it!

ReplyDeleteI'm so glad I stopped by for a visit, thank you.
Just a quick note to everyone ~ Blogger is having serious issues with comments today. It has the numbers wrong AND it is deleting some. I have lost a half-dozen on this post; my apologies to those who took the time to comment but their comments were deleted. It wasn't me, I promise. I read all the comments earlier today. Then, when I checked later, a bunch were missing. Hopefully they'll have this fixed soon.
ReplyDeleteYour Mason's cup and saucer are beautiful with all their vibrant colors. Thank you for sharing with us today.
