My favorite season is here once again. The nights are drawing in, the shorter days signaling a time to rest and regroup. Re-light the homefires and strive for a slightly slower pace. Think apple pies, hot cider, beautiful colors, brisk walks, boots, afternoons under a cozy blanket with a book, pumpkins, mums ~ pure bliss.
Ah, autumn...

ReplyDeleteI LOVE Summer, and hate to see it go, but I THINK I'm finally comin' around to accepting the change of seasons!.. I just got out my first box of Autumn decorations from storage, and we'll see how much of it I can gradually set out today! Now if I could only keep my cat out of all of it!!... We are of the same mind regarding autumn! Alas, it is presently 90 degrees here. Your photo is wonderful. Is it bougainvilla (sp?). We had it growing all over our back terrace in southern California. Sadly, it doesn't do well in the Chicago area.
