The last rose of the year...

The last rose of the year bloomed the other day. I thought my roses were all finished for the year, but this one surprised me with this gorgeous bloom ~ pink and full, with a wonderful scent. I am looking forward to seeing more next year.
Autumn has finally arrived where I live and it is lovely. The weather has cooled and things have started to die back in preparation for winter. I’m looking foward to settling in and hibernating a bit.
