Soothing seafoam...

There's something about this seafoam color that keeps drawing me in. I find it so soothing and invigorating at the same time. It's one of my new favorite colors. It feels like a fresh start, and I love that. Color in your surroundings can be so important to your mood. I've found that one of the best things you can do for yourself and your living space is to put a new coat of paint on your walls or some old furniture. There's very little paint can't improve and when you pick out a color that makes you feel good when you see it, well, that's always a good thing. Think of it as a fairly easy and inexpensive way to get going on a fresh start.
These photos are from my home ideas stash on my computer ~ again, I should have saved the links because now I have no idea where they came from. If anyone happens to know, please let me know so I can credit them.
Wishing all of you a lovely end to the week...

  2. These are beautiful! I especially love the table and upholstered chair in the 2nd photo.

You have put me in the mood to do some painting. I moved into a house 7 1/2 years ago, and while I loved the deep red walls of the main level at first, I have grown VERY weary of them...WAY too dark. A very pale sage green would lighten up the place, plus it would look beautiful with the sage green leaves of my floral-upholstered furniture.

    Easter blessings to you!
