Exactly...


I came across this somewhere a few days ago (I think it was on Facebook) and I pulled it aside to share with all of you because it's so true. This really is what decorating is all about to me. It's so much more than creating pretty rooms and taking pretty photographs of them ~ it's about embracing beauty in such a way that your home speaks to your soul every time you walk in the door. Decorating should be about comfort and beauty and creating a wonderful quality of life for you and your loved ones. So decorate the way you want, in a way that makes you feel at home.

    This is definitely true! For me, getting involved in blogging has really helped me in my homemaking as I've gotten so many great ideas and inspirations. I've put a lot more thought into decorating my home and attempting to make it a comfortable and peaceful place to be.
