April blooming...

April truly is blooming here, in more ways than one.
I know I haven't been around much this month, but it's only because I've been incredibly busy. Between work and coordinating my impending cross-country move, I feel like I'm running in five different directions trying to get to the same place. I'm sure you know what I mean.
However, in the last few days, everything has suddenly started to come together. I got my job situated (my employer is going to let me stay full-time and telecommute), one of my best friends is flying out to drive back to the Carolinas with me and three dogs, and we've got the moving dates lined up. My fiancé also discovered that the headquarters of the company his oldest friend works for is located in the city we're moving to, so he'll be guaranteed to see him at least once a year when he's on the East coast on business ~ that's more than he gets to see him now.
And then there's this gorgeous wisteria blooming on our front porch. Isn't it divine? I love how the color graduates so beautifully. And it's so perfectly delicate...
Please forgive me if I'm not able to visit as much as I would like over the next few weeks as I finish (I mean start) packing. I hope things are blooming for you, too.
Wishing all of you a lovely week...

  2. Wow! What a beautiful flower! I wonder if they grow in my part of the world... I'll have to check.
Things were starting to grow here but have now stalled as the cold has returned.. :(

Glad to hear that everything is working out for you regarding your move. My sister in law and I are still planning a trip that way in the next couple of years so.. I'll be by. ;)
