A bit of snow & ice...


We have spent the last couple days alternating between ice, freezing rain and snow, like much of the East Coast. Luckily, we are on the southern edge of the storm, so we have not gotten a foot or more of snow like my relatives up north.
You can see our neighborhood has just a nice little dusting of snow, though we did get a bit of ice, which caused problems. Everything shut down on Friday, including my work.


Miss Emily decided to go exploring in the back yard this morning to see what she had been missing. As you can see above and below, Tilly toughed out the storm in her weather gear.



Those little places of untouched snow are so pretty, aren’t they? Stay warm, everyone.

    Miss Emily looks so cute in her pink sweatshirt! You had just enough snow to make everything pretty. We didn't get any here in Central Indiana and our temps will go up to the low 40's next week. Come on, Spring!
