Home sweet home...
Well, I made it safely from California to South Carolina. Now the real fun begins.
Our furniture and other belongings are due to be delivered later today. Right now I've got an old couch and a chair a friend left so I would have something to sit on while waiting. Otherwise, I'm surrounded by big, empty rooms. I can hardly wait to get started on settling in, painting, etc. It's going to be great fun.
While waiting for everything else to arrive, I went out and bought some flowers for my front step, as you can see. I also got the sun porch somewhat together. I'll show you that tomorrow. And later this week, you'll get to see some before pictures of those big, empty rooms.
It really is good to be home.

Awww! I love your house. Even though you haven't been there, it still looks so welcoming. I'm sure that the flowers help.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see everything. I'm so happy that you made it home safely. :)
