Beauty in little things...


I was walking through my laundry room the other day not paying attention to much of anything when these pretty hangers caught my eye. I was suddenly struck by how lovely they were, just hanging there waiting for clothes. And then I remembered, again, how often it is the little things that make our worlds more lovely and pleasant. So I grabbed my camera and took a photo to share with all of you as a gentle reminder to stop and look around for beauty today.

    I love padded hangers!! So feminine and lovely!!

    And I agree, if we only just look around, we're sure to find beauty in our lives. Too often, we're looking for the grandiose things, when the little things are right in front of us.

    I so agree, Eileen. It takes practice to look for the small beauty in life, but it can change how you view the big things. The hangers are lovely.

    I used to host a blog party called, "Simple Pleasures," and this post would've made a perfect addition. I miss that party, but we travel a lot and it wasnn't always easy (and sometimes impossible) playing hostess. Still, I highly encourage people to look for the simple pleasures in life. They're all around.
