The beauty of napkin rings...

Napkin rings are one of those often overlooked items that can easily add a little beauty to your table. I'm a firm believer in fabric napkins ~ you won't find any paper ones at my house ~ so napkin rings are one of my small joys. These daisy napkin rings were given to me awhile ago by a very good friend of mine.  She  has a knack for picking out things I love. They go wonderfully with the placemats, don't you think? Before the holidays, I used these placemats with another set of napkin rings a friend had given me ~ pretty little flowers with a splash of bright yellow. I thought the daisy rings would make a nice little change.
What do you think?

  1. The napkin rings are beautiful, and they go perfectly with those placemats.

I'm with you on cloth napkins. That is all we use in our house too. Besides being prettier (and sturdier) than paper, they are more cost-effective since all you have to do is launder them. Sure beats throwing them away.

Love the music!! I'm listening to the fabulous Frank Sinatra right now. I can never get enough of that velvet voice.

    Have a great day,

  2. I love fabric napkins too but must confess, I don't have any. With the kids, I always figured that the paper ones would be easier.
I should make some cloth ones... I'm loving those rings! So now, I'm feeling inspired!

  3. I have to admit that one of the reasons I love cloth napkins is that buying them feeds my love of fabrics and patterns. :) I can buy napkins in patterns and colors that I love but that wouldn't go anywhere else in the house.

  6. Oooo... aren't these pretty! Love the rings and the placemat.

Using cloth ones really are a lovely touch to one's eating experience.

I got kinda bored with the ones I have, so I'm inspired to shop for news ones.
