Pumpkins in the rain...
We're having that lovely mix of rain and cool, autumn weather this week, so the pumpkins on my front step are glistening. You can see the rain drops if you look closely. The big pumpkin will be transformed into a jack-o'-lantern for Halloween to greet all the trick-or-treaters. The little ones will probably come inside and be transformed into vases for mums once Halloween is over. I think they'll be just adorable.
Are you doing anything special with your pumpkins this year?
The pumpkins look gorgeous! I just love Fall weather!
ReplyDeleteMy pumpkins will just be carved into Jack-O-Lanterns, that's all.

This is a gorgeous picture!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your idea of using the little ones for containers for mums.
Lovely~

Beautiful pumpkins! Mine will just hang out as decoration until after Thanksgiving. I don't carve mine and I love the fall look.

so pretty! I didn't buy any real pumpkins this year...we have a teeny, tiny little front stoop...can't even call it a porch. I don't pass out Halloween candy and neighbors tend to assume if you decorate then you are handing out the candy, so I skipped decorating this year. But, I'd like to! Last year I bought a white one and painted a letter on it, very cute.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo!!!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day,

The rain made your pumpkins clean and shiny. I would like a big dish from your last post.
ReplyDeleteWe don't have this tradition in NZ, but your pumpkins look beautiful!
ReplyDeleteLovely blog, happy to follow you :-)
