I sincerely hope all of you are having a much better day than I am. When days like today strike, I rely on some old favorites to get me through. Little indulgences like steaming cups of tea from one of my favorite teacups, soft music or ocean waves on the iPod and candles everywhere - both for their aromatherapy benefits and the beautiful glow.
There's something about being surrounded by burning candles, even in the daylight, that just makes me feel better. I'm sending these virtual candles out with good wishes for all and a little prayer that my little bits of beauty get me through today.

Darling sorry your day wasn't as you planned. However, I have to say your choice to reverse it is excellent. Home with music, tea and candles, what else can a girl ask for, oh may be some macaroons to go with the tea...just a thought. Lovely post.

You're so right to comfort yourself when things aren't going so well. specially at the moment, feels like half the planet is having bad days far too frequently. So once you've sipped your tea, relaxed with your candles and read these kind comments, just give yourself a pat on the back for having created such a beautiful and peaceful blog - your blog may have been a scented candle in someone else's day today!
