New cookbook love...

Despite just moving more boxes of books than I care to count, it hasn't slowed down my cookbook obsession. I picked up Weeknights with Giada this past weekend and have been pouring over it the last few nights, and I have to tell you, it's really fab. I don't own all of Giada's cookbooks, but this is my favorite of those I do own. The recipes are truly meals you can put on the table during the week without a lot of fuss. Everything looks so scrumptious I'm already planning to have some friends over to try out some things with me. I need to break in my fab new red braiser pan, too. If you're looking for inspiration in the kitchen, or even a gift for someone, give it a look.

  1. I always enjoy Giada's cookbooks. There's just something so warm and friendly about her and her books. Makes you want to jump up out of your chair and head for the kitchen.

  2. I love Giada! Will definitely have to check out this cookbook!

  3. I've never made anything out of her books. I've checked a couple out of the library but never found anything that I think my kids would eat. :(

There is a cookbook that I want to buy though. It's called "Whatever happened to Sunday dinner?" and it's by Lisa Caponigri. Lot's of the kind of recipes that I grew up with. I REALLY want it.

Glad that you are enjoying your new one. I love cookbooks too. :)

  4. I have her first cook book and love it! I read cookbooks like books too:)

  5. I love Giada and I often give her books as gifts. Her shows are great too!

  6. I'll have to take a peek at that. My favorite is Ina Garten :)
