Back soon...

Today I'm leaving Southern California with a car full of dogs and one of my dearest friends. In a few days, we should arrive in the Carolinas.
I'll leave you for the next week or so with this lovely photograph. I took this standing in our front yard a couple of weeks ago and I simply love it ~ the roses in bloom, the lush greenery, the palm tree waving high above the porch. It's a perfect little snapshot of the magnificent and varied beauty of California.
