It’s the little things...


There is something about a brand new box of crayons that thrills, isn’t there? I haven’t bought one in years and years, but I decided I wanted some crayons to use in my new coloring books. Popping open the box gave me as much of a thrill as it did when I was 5. It’s the little indulgences in life that matter.

    Oh yes, a giant box of brand new crayons is a wonderful thing! I notice that colored pencils are used by some people. Which do you prefer? Hobby Lobby, Michael's and Joann's are all within three miles of my home. I'm sure there are lots of books from which to choose.

    I still prefer the crayons over the pencils although I enjoy using both ... I love the smell of wax crayons. And, what a lovely selection you have there.

    Happy colouring ... I felt the thrill you mentioned just thinking about it too.
