As autumn nears...
We went to the garden center this weekend and what do I see everywhere? Mums, in all of my favorite fall colors. It’s getting to be that time of year again ~ autumn, my favorite season, is nearly here. In the next few weeks, as things cool down where I live, it will be time to switch out tired summer blooms for fresh autumn and winter ones. I will be bringing home several pots of chrysanthemums in red, rust and yellow, and eventually some pansies to replant some of my planters since they last through the winter here. I can hardly wait; it’s like a fresh start for my yard.
What about you ~ any plans for your autumn garden?

I will be doing the same - I love the color of the last Chrysanthemums. I hope to get my flower boxes back up to fill with Pansies! Such beautiful little happy faces! I appreciate you sharing with Home and Garden Thursday

Eileen, the only flowers you will see around my home in the wintertime will be indoors because we get tons of snow. It must be lovely to live in a climate where you can enjoy flowers all year long!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers look wonderful and yes, I will be decorating with a few pots of mums and pumkins for the Autumn. Thank you for coming to my HOME and enjoy the weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
