Whimsical & fun new patterns...

Some pretty cool things have been happening lately with regards to my fabric design hobby. None of it is the result of anything I’ve done (lol), but rather because Spoonflower has launched a new company called Roostery Home Decor. I’ll do a post explaining all that next. (For those of you who don’t know, I create patterns for fabric, wallpaper & gift wrap under The Pink Home.)
In the meantime, I have been busy creating some new designs. Lots of fun, colorful & playful patterns that I thought I would share here. The ones shown above are available through Spoonflower and Roostery. Baby, Baby ~ the pattern shown below ~ should be available shortly.
Look for the upcoming post about my exciting news ~ it’s pretty cool.

Miss Em on a Sunday morning...

Emily is rarely willing to pose for pictures but this morning she decided she didn’t mind having her photo taken, so I snapped a couple shots. She looks particularly cute in the chair she is sitting in, though I suspect she knew that. She needs a haircut, but even so, she’s still adorable.
Wishing all of you a lovely Sunday...

Snapshots from the Lowcountry...

My husband and I just returned from a week in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with friends. We spent most of our time on Edisto Island, which is off the coast near Charleston. The Lowcountry is a beautiful, almost mystical place with its Live Oak trees dripping Spanish moss, fragrant marshlands and beautiful coast. Not to mention the beautiful houses and long history.
I took these photos on the island and in Charleston ~ just a little flavor of the place. Hope you enjoy.
