Snapshots from the Lowcountry...
My husband and I just returned from a week in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with friends. We spent most of our time on Edisto Island, which is off the coast near Charleston. The Lowcountry is a beautiful, almost mystical place with its Live Oak trees dripping Spanish moss, fragrant marshlands and beautiful coast. Not to mention the beautiful houses and long history.
I took these photos on the island and in Charleston ~ just a little flavor of the place. Hope you enjoy.
