What a lovely sight...

Look at that ~ hydrangea blooms! After being transplanted last year, it looked like this very old hydrangea wasn’t going to make it. Following the advice of a master gardener, I was able to get it to survive the season but I wasn’t convinced it would come back this year. But it did. And even though it is much smaller than it used to be, and the blooms are no where near as numerous, it is blooming! I have never been so relieved to see a plant bloom ~ I just didn’t want to be the one that killed this wonderful old hydrangea, especially considering I moved it to save it.

Do you see that window above the hydrangea? My desk where I do my blogging and other computer stuff is right there. I look forward to the day when the plant is so big I can look over and see hydrangea blooms right outside my window.

Wishing all of you a lovely day...

  2. I too love hydrangeas, I have two pink, one white and one that can't decide if it's purple, blue or pink!
Yours is a stunner, so pleased that it survived and is happy in it's new spot in your garden.
