Miss Emily in the flower garden...

Miss Emily likes to keep up on things, so when I go to check on the new flower beds in our front yard, she often accompanies me. Mostly I think she likes to see what the neighbors are up to ~ and if anyone is around, she has to go say hello. She also seems to like the zinnias, partly because she thinks she can hide behind them.
Regardless of her motives, pretty blooms and Miss Emily are an adorable combination, so I had to snap a few photos to share.

Wishing all of you a lovely day...

  4. Miss Emily is adorable! Looking at that beautiful green lawn and your gorgeous flowers should make you so happy you are not in the drought stricken conditions of California. Not a green lawn in sight and some very sad flowers here.
    Have a lovely weekend,

    1. Thank you! I know things are awfully dry in California - we have family there. The drought is terrible.

  5. Oh how lovely. And your roses are in a great drought-wise garden which we in California are definitely learning about :) Have a great week and a Happy Pink Saturday.
