Blooms from Biltmore...

My dear friend Jenny visited one of our favorite places this past weekend ~ Biltmore Estate in Asheville, N.C. She wandered the rose gardens and took these beautiful photographs, which she was kind of enough to let me share with you. I just love all the glorious colors she captured. I will have to go visit with my camera soon.
Wishing all of you a week filled with beauty...

  1. One of the most beautiful places ever. I had the pleasure of seeing it many years ago. Loved it and enjoyed seeing a small portion of it again.

  3. The Biltmore's gardens always celebrate the different seasons in a spectacular way and this post is no exception. What a glorious showing of their different varieties of roses.

When we visit the Biltmore we like to spend the night and enjoy a gourmet meal at their incredibly luxurious Inn on the grounds. You feel as if you've been one of the Vanderbilt's special guests.

  4. Oh, those are beautiful! I've never toured the Biltmore, but it's long been on my list of places to go. We were in Asheville back in 1998, but our kids were really little then...too little to enjoy it. Unfortunately, now that they are older, we live way out West, so a repeat visit isn't in the near future.

    Blessings,
    Patti
