Spring!

Happy spring, everyone. The season of renewal is finally here. May Mother Nature get to work quickly warming up those of us who have spent the winter freezing, like me. I'm looking forward to warmer days and getting my hands dirty digging in the yard planting beautiful blooms. Of course, in the meantime I have my favorite tulips, so that's some consolation.
We have big plans here for spring. I've picked out a new color for the front door and front step ~ it's going to give the house a whole new look. I can't wait to show you that. We've also got a huge yard sale to plan. Moving last year showed us that we have a lot of stuff we simply don't need anymore. And there are flower beds and a vegetable garden and an herb garden to plan, all in a backyard that's in desperate need of some serious landscaping and attention. We're going to be busy, busy.
What about you? Any big plans for spring?

  1. Those are absolutely beautiful! I am as well so happy Spring is here and hopeful in the next few days will warm up. I've been aching to get my hands in some dirt and do a little gardening too. I have thought about painting our front door to except I've not mentioned it to the hubby yet. :) Enjoyed your Post! Happy Hump day. ~Jen

  2. My plans for spring involve just getting out and taking walks. Since I'm a Florida girl currently living in the Northwest, my blood doesn't care for anything below 60 degrees, which means I haven't spent any time outdoors since early October. I can't wait just to walk in the sunshine!

I have no doubt your yard and your front door will be beautiful after your creative touch has come upon them. I look forward to seeing your photos.

    Love,
    Patti

  4. Such beautiful flowers. I don't think Spring has made it here--snow this weekend. We have plans for our flower gardens and window boxes. I can't wait until the first flower is planted.
