A little vacation loveliness...

The South Carolina Lowcountry is a lovely place. I'm back from having spent a week there with very good friends and I thought I'd share some of the beauty with you. We stayed on Frampton Inlet on Edisto Island, and you can see the Atlantic Ocean beyond the inlet in some of the photos. Hope you enjoy.

  1. Gorgeous pictures. You already know how much I want to visit the South someday. Everything just looks so still in the pictures that you took. :) Perfect.

  2. We've stayed on Edisto Island several years ago. So much of it looks untouched. A lovely and tranquil place for a vacation, not to mention the great seafood.

And I finally learned to pronounce it correctly from a local.

  4. I just finished reading a couple of books by Dorothea Benton Frank.
    Plantation and Low Country Summer.
Loved them both and the story was based on the Edisto River.
Maybe one day I can visit there.

I'm your newest follower and would love for you to follow me.
    Have a wonderful day!!
