Sweet summer strawberries...

Strawberries are one of the great blessings of summer. We are still enjoying fresh strawberries where I live - so much so, in fact, that we can't eat them all. What a glorious problem to have! I froze some for smoothies later on, and am planning on making this beautiful cake to use the rest of them. Ah, sweet summer...

We have a precious furry dalmatian (our third) who lives with and loves us unconditionally. Yes, indeed, God created near perfection in giving us our pets!!
